AbsoluteVille - Chi Siamo

Absoluteville , come suggerisce il nome, non è semplicemente un blog, è innanzitutto un progetto, una città in continua evoluzione dove si fa e si ragiona di letterature, di poesie, di arti, nella speranza che questo ragionare e questo fare siano terreno di incontro per tanti scrittori, lettori, e chissà anche non lettori.

Absoluteville nasce come una speranza nel modo in cui la intende Ernst Bloch: non una disposizione spontanea, ma qualcosa che richiede esercizi di apprendimento, un continuo sforzo a partire dai ‘possibili’ e non dal ‘reale’. Ecco perché vogliamo che esordisca e si conservi nella forma mutante di progetto, la prefigurazione di una città in potenza, vitale, aperta, popolata da autori, lettori e non lettori che non temano il confronto, che anzi lo prediligano.

Per questa ragione Absoluteville è insieme molte cose e molte attività: questo sito web, il festival internazionale di poesia Absolute Poetry, un’associazione dedicata alla realizzazione di eventi, siano essi festival, rassegne, convegni, dibattiti, poetry slam, performance.

Nello specifico, in questo nuovo sito abbiamo deciso di raccogliere sotto il comune marchio di Absoluteville varie attività: innanzitutto una e-zine con una redazione composta da autori di formazioni e poetiche differenti, che dia della poesia uno sguardo a 360 gradi; quindi una nuova serie di blog d’autore che affrontino argomenti specifici intorno alle letterature e alle poesie del mondo; un nuovo canale video e, infine, il programma/archivio del festival costantemente aggiornato.

Absoluteville inizia la sua attività come un cantiere, come una piccola ville piena soprattutto di entusiasmo, di energia, di progettualità, ma come ogni città (è la nostra speranza) presto potrà ingrandirsi e accogliere tutti coloro che la vorranno abitare e riempire con le loro voci, magari rendendola sempre più luogo d’incontro e di confronto: quello che riuscirà a fare, è indubbio, dipenderà dall’energia di chi vorrà abitare questo cantiere, e far crescere questa città come la sua città.

Intanto il festival prosegue a Monfalcone (nel 2010 la quinta edizione) sotto la direzione artistica di Lello Voce e la cura artistica e scientifica di Luigi Nacci e Gianmaria Nerli.

Per gli altri progetti, come si dice, il cantiere è ancora aperto...

I would love to stop by. But, I think it might have to wait until this summer. I did not know that Serlkay had ever expanded its size. I must say that a succesful family owned business in this day and age is a very refreshing sight! As well as this is a very refreshing site!
